Job Summary
In this role, you'll be instrumental in strategizing and executing comprehensive engineering initiatives. Your expertise will guide the implementation of engineering standards and policies, ensuring smooth project execution and mitigated risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Devise, structure, and project-manage engineering operations, optimizing both time and financial resources, and oversee the development and upkeep of infrastructure, facilities, and system components.
- Investigate and formulate solutions for technical challenges related to manufacturing processes and equipment failure causation.
- Tackle intricate challenges independently, referring only the most daunting concerns to senior staff.
- Guide workforce planning and the development of frameworks for construction, commissioning, and operational commencement.
- Spearhead the specification and acquisition of equipment, including crafting and evaluating competitive bid packages.
- Foster the development of emerging engineers through hands-on mentorship and practical project involvement.
- Supervise and manage capital expenditure in multi-million dollar projects.
- Guarantee adherence to rigorous food safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor?s degree in an engineering or technical discipline is required.
- At least four years of pertinent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record in executing substantial capital projects or managing a suite of projects.
- Experience within the food manufacturing sector.
